- All numbers from "0" to "9" are allowed;
- Hyphens (-) are allowed but not at the begin or end in your domain name and you can't put 2 consecutives hyphens (--);
- The minimum length of the domain name is 3 characters extension (.tn) excluded;
- The maximum length of the domain name is 63 characters extension (.tn) excluded;

Local presence for domains .tn

The .TN domains can be registered only by companies with registered office in Tunisia, or by subjects with a registered trademark recognized in Tunisia and the administrative contact must show that they are domiciled in the country. Therefore, in the first case, the certificate of registration of the company translated into French or English is requested and the local contact of the admin-c. In the second case, provide a copy of the trademark registration certificate in English and the local contact of the admin-c. Ormag offers the domiciliation service, at an additional cost, available from here

TRANSFER domains .tn

To transfer a .TN domain:
- the domain owner must sign a specific document,
- The domain must have been active for at least 30 days.
- The domain must not be blocked; in this case, the holder will have to; contact the current registrar requesting the unlocking of the domain for the transfer.
The transfer is usually completed within 5 and 10 days.
It is advisable to transfer the domain name at least 20 days before the deadline in order to prevent the operation from failing.
The domain is renewed for 1 year from the date of transfer.

CAUTION: none of our contracts provide for automatic (silent) service renewal. About two months before the deadline you will be contacted by Ormag via email to decide whether or not to renew the services provided by us
