General Info about .sm domains names
- All letters "a" to "z" without distinguishing between uppercase and lowercase are accepted;
- All numbers from "0" to "9" are allowed;
- Hyphens (-) are allowed but not at the begin or end in your domain name and you can't put 2 consecutives hyphens (--);
- The minimum length of the domain name is 3 characters extension (.sm) excluded;
- The maximum length of the domain name is 63 characters extension (.sm) excluded;

- trademarks, symbols, flags, logos and what is reserved by law and regulations;
- are considered reserved names, and as such not assignable to other organizations, all the names of the San Marino Institutions in general, of the San Marino Public Administration, of the Autonomous Companies of State, Institutions in general or domain names able to represent them (for ex: poste.sm) and what is reserved for regulations and laws;
- are not accepted names related to games of chance, gambling and explicitly or implicitly sexual, names reserved and / or prohibited by the State Administration of the Republic of San Marino.
The appropriate form must be completed and we will send it immediately after receipt of the order and payment.
CAUTION: none of our contracts provide for automatic (silent) service renewal. About two months before the deadline you will be contacted by Ormag via email to decide whether or not to renew the services provided by us
